Tobacco-Free School Policy
Prohibits the use of all tobacco products including e-cigarettes and other non-FDA approved nicotine delivery devices on school property, in school vehicles, and at school sponsored events.
It supports tobacco use prevention education and prohibits tobacco industry sponsorship, and the advertising of promotional products on school property or in school publications.
It includes procedures to communicate the policy along with enforcement and disciplinary procedures for violation of the policy
It provides cessation information for students, faculty, and staff too!
This policy protects students, faculty, staff, and visitors from the health risks associated with tobacco use and secondhand smoke exposure.
